A core, with optional modules

Take only what your work needs. A module never assumes another is present, so someone could use the core with Time Tracking and Claims and never touch Applications or Dissemination.

The core and each module

Core

Always on. Works by itself.

  • Organisations, consortium projects and roles
  • Secure file upload and the evidence store
  • Project baselines
  • Risk, issue and action registers
  • Simple boards for planning work
  • Notifications and reminders
  • A documented API and admin command line

Optional modules

  • Opportunities and ResearchDiscover relevant funding calls with scored, deduplicated results, decide which to pursue, and bring related research into a bid.
  • ApplicationsDraft from your own evidence, check funder limits exactly, run an internal review, and gather partner sections and budgets.
  • AwardTurn an offer letter into dated obligations, and track collaboration agreements and signatures.
  • Time TrackingRecord time with timers and day or week views, then attest it and have it approved.
  • Claims and ForecastAllocate costs to a grant, match receipts, compare forecast with actual, and produce claim packs with evidence attached.
  • Funder ReportingProduce meeting packs, progress reports and copy-ready portal text from the project record.
  • Consortium ToolsRun the governance calendar, minutes and actions, chase contributions, and handle change requests and partners joining or leaving.
  • PM Tool SyncKeep work items in step with the project management tool your team already uses. Confidential cost data never syncs.
  • DisseminationPlan outputs against commitments, draft for several channels with claims checked against sources, and track open access.
  • Finance ConnectorsSync costs from your accounting system so claims and reports start from your real figures. CSV and report import work without it.

Start small and add later

Begin with one project and the part that gives you the most trouble. Switch a module off and your data stays intact, ready for when you switch it back on.

Funder templates

Funder rules are held in versioned templates, starting with Innovate UK and ITEA, and any rule not yet verified is visibly marked. Naming them does not imply any endorsement by either.
